Buan bamboo salt is made by filling king bamboo with Gomso sea salt, sealing the bamboo with red clay from the mountains of Byeonsan, firing the bamboo 8 times with pine logs, and using pine pollen to increase the temperature on the 9th time, melting the salt like a magma, cooling, and crushing the grey salt. As its production process indicates, it is a fruit borne by patience.
