Jikso Falls
The 2nd sight in the Eight Sights of Byeonsan is a majestic waterfall with the height of 30 m. The beauty of the area has given rise to an old saying, "one cannot discuss Byeonsan without having visited the sights of Jikso Falls and Junggye Valley.”
Wolmyeongam Hermitage
A Buddhist temple located on the ridge near the Ssangseonbong Peak, it was established by the monk Buseol in 692. The legends of its founding are told in the story Buseoljeon (The Story of Buseol) and the poem Paljuksi written by the monk. The back of the hermitage offers an expansive view of the sunrise and the sunset.
