[Village]Unho Village
In late Joseon period, Governor Yi Seogu of Jeolla-do Province happened upon a funeral procession involving nearly 80 members from Buan Jang clan at Gunsinbong Peak during his tour through the Byeonsan area. Being proficient in the art of feng shui, Yi recognized that the graves being built in Gunsinbong Peak were located in a supremely prosperous site. Overcome with jealousy, Yi ordered the graves to be dug up. When the workers arrived at the graves, they found a black bull perched on the site, carrying three cranes on its back. The three cranes promptly flew toward Gochang, Unho, and Madong areas, and the bull is said to have disappeared shortly after.
