- Wolmyeongam is a small temple located near the summit of the Sangsun Peak. This temple was founded by Buseolgeosa in the 12th year of King Sinmun's regime (692) and has a history that is nearly 1300 years long. The temple suffered several water and fire damages in the past and the entire temple burned down during the Korean War. The temple that exists today was reconstructed by the Buddhist priest Wongyeong.
Wolmyeongam is famous for the scripture Wolmyeongmuae in the Byeonsanpalgyeong, and also the glowing sunset of the west sea.
