Prosperous people, Praiseworthy Buan

The Buan Dam was built in a forgotten valley of the Junggae Glen, which is located near Byeonsan Springs.
The height of the dam is 37m, the length is 330m, and the total area is 58㎢. The total water storage is four hundred twenty thousand million ㎥, and the water supply is 3,600㎥. The cost of building this dam was twenty-six thousand million won. The dam was completed on November 6, 1996 and plays the important role of supplying drinking water for the citizens of Buan and Gochang.
