The Wido Beach is located in Wido-myeon, Jin-ri, Beolgeum. It has the eccentric characteristics of island beaches, and the sight of the 1 km-long sand and Wangdeung Island far away is as beautiful as a painting.
The arch-shaped beach gives one the cozy feeling of a basket. The slope is gentle and the water is not deep, making the beach fit for family tourists in the summer.
Wido Beach was opened in 1969 and has a long history, but it did not develop much since it was in an island. Then, in October of 1992, the beach was designated as a national tour sie and is rapidly developing with support from the government.
