- The Gaeamsa Temple is one of the four most famous temples in Byeonsan. It is the place where the people of Baekje pitched camp and operated a Baekje revival movement after Baekje was overtaken by enemy forces.
This temple was founded by Hyeguduta during the 35th year of King Mu in Baekje (634). It had been repaired and reconstructed several times during its history and exists to this day.
