- The Ougum Fortress is also called Juryu/Wigumam Fortress or Ugeum Stone Fortress.
Remains found within the fortress are those from the Bakjae Dynasty to the Joseon Dynasty, so one can see that the fortress had been used for a long time. The center of the fortress is the Ugeum Stone, and it is a winding shape, as if it is hugging nearby mountain peaks and the valley below. The circumference of the fortress is 3960 m and the height is 3m, making it the largest fortress in the area.
- To the north of the fortress, there is the Bukjangdae on the highest peak and to the south there is the Namjangdae. Many buildings such as the site of the Myoamsa Temple exist on the interior of the fortress. After Bakjae had fallen, the Baekje revival warriors honored Bouyeopung who had gone to Japan. It is presumed that this fortress was where the warriors carried out their last battle in 663.
