Yucheonri Doyoji

  • The address of this place is Buangun Boanmyun Youchunlee 10-1. This place is soon celadon porcelains and sangam celadon porcelains were made during the Goryeo Dynasty, from the 11th century to the 14th century. It is one of the major celadon porcelain producing sites, along with the chungjayo of Gangjin, Junlanamdo.
    About 40 furnace sites are spread about on a large field. The most famous furnance site is the eastern field, which has a stone post.
  • 12th century celadon porcelains are made here, from soon celadon porcelains, sangan celadon porcelains, chulhui celadon porcelains, jinsa celadon porcelains, white porcelains, to the chilyoujagi.
    Several types of celadon porcelain- plum bottles, alcohol bottles, bottles, cups, supporting cups, rice bowls, bowls with lids, plates, large plates-and also many in-layed patterns-chrysanthemums patterns, peony patterns, patterns of flying storks and clouds, water bird patterns, images of people- are being found on the porcelains, providing valuable material for the research of celadon porcelain.
