- Cuttle fish is caught by installing fish traps in places where the sea bottom is made of rocks. The fishing season is from April to May and is mostly caught near the seas of the Hyeongje Island.
Cuttle fish from the seas of the Byeonsan peninsula are caught in areas closest to shore and are transported quickly, so the products are very fresh and often enjoyed as sashimi.
